The Last Summer 6

"Speaking of a stay in the countryside, it would be only right and proper to mention the general rules of conduct in summer housing" *

or the sightseeing regulations of "The Last Summer" exhibition

  1. Even the smartest landlady will not host more than 40 people at a summer home, even if she made available to guests all of her rooms (except the bedroom, of course!) and porches. If you have to wait for an invitation, be patient and indulgent on such occasions.

Mindful of the comfort of visitors and due to the nature of the exhibition, our staff may advise you to wait until those who have come before you have completed their tour.

  1. When at a summer home, you must exercise maximum caution not to tarnish your reputation.

In the interest of your safety at the exhibition, we do not allow backpacks and bags. Please leave them in the lockable cabinets in the basement. The number of lockers is limited; if there are no vacant lockers it means that the limit of visitors has been reached and you will kindly need to wait to enter.

  1. Do your best to respect the possessions of your hosts who have left their doors open to you and instruct your children accordingly.

Please be careful in using the items on display so that they might serve everyone for as long as possible. They should be put back in place and should not be transferred between rooms. Any and all damage should be immediately reported to the exhibition staff.

  1. In the countryside, much more than in the city, we are exposed to the scrutiny of the neighbours, who may not spare us gossip and insults.

To ensure the security of the collections, we reserve the possibility of monitoring the exhibition space with cameras. By entering the exhibition, you agree to have your image and conduct recorded by CCTV cameras. The recordings will be reviewed only for evidentiary purposes in case of destruction or disappearance of items from the exhibit and may be handed over to the relevant authorities.

  1. Your stay at the summer resort will be enriched by games of various kinds, which both adults and children will appreciate. You should use them eagerly in order to even faster cure the nerves strained by a year-long struggle for livelihood and the monotony of daily existence.

Pawns, dice, balls, and other game pieces are issued by the exhibition staff subject to availability. You may be asked to give your name or leave a deposit.
